Construction begins with home site excavation. This is where the base on which your home’s foundation will rest.
Depending on the region you’re in, your new home’s foundation consists of a slab, block or basement foundation.
Slab construction: Forms are set and an outline of the new home begins to take shape. Underground plumbing is installed and tied into the sewer system. The slab is poured which creates the foundation for your home.
Block wall construction: Concrete block is laid to create your new home’s foundation.
Basement foundation: Concrete is poured into foundation form panels. Underground plumbing is installed and tied into the sewer system.
During the foundation phase our proprietary insulation is installed to create the sealed energy envelope.
*We recommend pouring monolithic concrete slab foundation, it saves you time and money.
*We recommend guidance from a licensed General Contractor (GC). As part of our consulting services we can help you locate a licensed GC. The GC will work directly with you.
